Ben was born and raised in Poole. After qualifying from Guy’s, Kings & St. Thomas’s Dental Institute, King’s College London, he completed his Vocational Training in Somerset. He headed straight into busy Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer positions in Bristol and Poole.
These roles provided Ben invaluable training in diagnosis, head and neck pathology and surgical skills. He subsequently gained Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
After returning to general practice, Ben continued to develop his skill set in all areas of dentistry, both within the private sector and the NHS. He successfully guided newly qualified dentists through their compulsory Foundation Training as their mentor for many years.
His love of oral surgery and restorative dentistry naturally led him to pursue additional training. He has just completed his second year of the master’s degree in Implant Dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London.
When not working or studying, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dina, two children and two dogs, working out at the gym and enjoying returning to his hometown.
