Fiona began working at our practice at the beginning of 2019. We earmarked her for the reception and administration position as soon as we were able to accommodate it, having worked with her for 4 years previously at another practice.
Fiona is a firm favourite with patients and staff alike: her calm, authoritative manner allows her to effectively negotiate with difficult patients, support nervous patients and develop a positive team atmosphere.
Fiona moved from an NHS practice to work in a specialist implant practice before working with us, and despite having no prior dental knowledge (nursing experience, etc), she picked up implant procedures quickly and rapidly developed a strong rapport with patients. Living locally for all her life, she has a funny habit of knowing patients from elsewhere and so provides our Dental Clinic with a friendly, welcoming, familiar face for patients to immediately relax around.
