Are you new to the area or looking to switch dental practices? We’re one of the best private dentists in town.
Book a check-up, hygiene appointment, consultation, or emergency treatment online and automatically register.
Need an urgent appointment to resolve a specific problem or tooth pain instead of a dental check-up?
At Dorset Dental Clinic, we do things slightly differently; with us, patients pay one set fee and have all their appointments and extras covered, so there are no nasty surprises when it comes to paying. For example, if you’re a new patient, you’d pay £185 for a check-up appointment, which would include:
At every check-up, our dentists will perform a comprehensive exam of your mouth, teeth and gums and examine the soft tissue in your cheeks and tongue, testing for any signs of gum disease and overall oral health analysis.
During your first visit, our dentists will take a complete dental history to provide us with a broader understanding of your personal needs – and we might take several x-rays of your teeth to ascertain the current landscape of your jaw and position of teeth, as well as diagnosing any treatments that might have gone unnoticed.
Today, when booking a check-up as a new patient, combining your appointment with a hygiene session will cost you £35 less than booking the appointment separately. The cost for a new patient check-up and hygiene appointment is £185 when combining, separately, you would pay £95 as a registered patient for a check-up and £125 for a Hygiene with Airflow session.
For patients who require our services for regular dental care (you should get a check-up every 3-6 months), you might find our practice membership scheme helpful. It will cover your costs for a certain number of cleans and check-ups per year.
You don’t need us to tell you that you need regular check-ups to complement a good daily oral hygiene routine as a preventive approach to dental problems.
Our private dentists in Dorset are here to preserve and manage your oral health and will always take the time to understand your lifestyle, past treatments, procedures, and patient history and walk through any concerns you might have about your smile and as a patient.
We know better than most just how much a trip to the dentist can cause apprehension, which is why we aim to build a relationship of trust between our dentists and you to help put your anxieties at ease and calm your nerves.
